How lucky you are to be working with Agency Models & Talent. It’s time to update your headshot to help them promote you as an actor. As an actress myself for over 25 years, I know how important a current headshot and a good quality headshot can be. With my experience in the entertainment industry and being on both sides of the camera, I understand both the actor’s mind as well as what your agent wants. I am passionate about helping you create a variety of looks that will give you every opportunity to land your next job. I work fast, know how to pose you and I jam pack image options into your session. Your headshot is your first impression and your opportunity to get that audition. Let’s collaborate and make it happen!

THE PROCESS

• Book your Session below.

• Choose your favorite images by clicking on the heart icon under the photos you like.

• Then, share them with your contact at Agency Models & Talent to get their feedback. (There is an EMAIL FAVORITES option when in your Favorites Folder in your online gallery)

• Once a final decision has been made, we will send them to you and Agency.

HEADSHOTS:

Keep in mind that your headshot needs to reflect who you are. We are not shooting for a glamour shot or editorial fashion look, clients want to see a headshot that looks like you. They look at the body language, your features, and especially the expression in your eyes. Great energy can be seen in the eyes! The best advice is to be well-rested, comfortable, relaxed and confident. We are happy to help handle the hard parts so you can just show up ready to smile!

WHAT TO BRING:

- A wide variety of wardrobe options that fit you well. More notes on wardrobe below. We will take one full body shot so consider fit on jeans or pants.

- Makeup bag, hair products, minimal jewelry, belt, Spanx + appropriate undergarments as needed. Bring chapstick to keep lips moisturized.

HAIR/MAKE UP:

Please come to your headshot appointment with hair and makeup ready. Take your time getting ready. Don’t be rushed. Style hair as you normally would. You shouldn’t need special styling, but should look like you’ve groomed it to look good for an event. Your headshot should reflect what you will look like at an audition, so you want the style to be close to your normal look. Apply your make-up except for lip liner and lipstick. Bring your extra products if needed for touch ups or adjustments!

WARDROBE SUGGESTIONS:

Headshots are about all about your face, keep it simple. Nothing you're wearing should distract from your face. This is why we generally prefer headshots without jewelry or accessories. No large logos, pictures or text on tops. Bring options, a good variety of tops in a variety of styles, think of things that look great around your neckline. Bring a variety and Tammy can help pick and choose at the time of the shoot. Please avoid wild patterns, ruffles and solid white tops, but various textures can be great. Think simple and clean lines that compliment your face. Layers are always great. Avoid too much skin for a headshot, such as strap tops or sleeveless tops.

Colors: Light/pastel colors and neon do not do well in front of the camera. Think of solid tones that complement you well. Tammy likes to suggest jewel tones for her headshots!

Bottoms: We WILL be shooting one full body shot. We suggest that you wear a nice fitting pair of jeans or slacks that you can easily swap out your tops with. The focus will be on headshots but we are taking one quick full body shot that will include your shoes.

For kids, think fun target ad!

OTHER TIPS:

• Be prepared! This is meant to be a fun session, so preparing beforehand will help minimize any unnecessary stress!

• Wash & iron your wardrobe a few days beforehand. Make sure to keep things clean and wrinkle free.

• Have your make up bag and outfits set aside and ready to grab for your shoot day!

• When in doubt, bring your options. Tammy will help choose the right outfit

CANCELLATION POLICY:

Due to session availability, we request that you cancel at least 48 hours before a scheduled session. This gives others the opportunity to book sessions. You may cancel by phone, email or online here. If you have to cancel your session within 48 hours then there will be a $50 charge. Thank you.
