25th Anniversary - nuggets of wisdom exhibit A

As I approach the end of my 25th year in business as a photographer, I have asked my clients to give advice to their 25 year-old selves. It’s been so interesting reading everyone’s advice they wish they had known when they were 25. So I will be sharing these nuggets of wisdom for all to enjoy over the next few weeks.

This has been a year of celebration and a year of learning. As I age and look back at my experiences, I feel so much gratitude and want to share advice and encouragement to others. “Others” may be past clients, future clients but even more, other new photographers who are considering a career in photography.

What I found interesting with my clients sharing nuggets of advice for their 25 year-old selves…is that almost every single one was different. Sometimes they chuckled and shared something really honest but decided to not share it with the world…but it got them thinking about their young self and what they wish they had known. I’m hoping that these nuggets of wisdom may be impactful for young 20 somethings as they consider their soul mate, marriage, career choices, investments, etc..
